Professional Experience

Richard Greco, D.O. most recently completed fellowship training in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. Prior to his fellowship training Dr. Greco completed residency training at St. Joseph's Regional Medical and Trauma Center in Paterson, NJ, where he served as chief surgical resident and was one of the four original founding surgical residents. Dr. Greco also completed a surgical internship at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York, and received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Greco is the recipient of the SLS Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Award, and has contributed to a number of poster presentations, and remains active as a member of professional organizations in the field. He is pleased to join Karl Strom, M.D. at the Center for Bariatrics at Bayshore Community Hospital.
